A Good System Empowers you Against the Fear of Rejection

The number one thing that stops most new distributors from getting started in their business or kills their business is the fear of rejection. No one likes to hear no.

This can be a paralyzingly fear for many if we don't educate our new team partners on what to say, what to do and what to expect right from the start.

The key is to keep it very simple. Have a system in place and teach your team how to use the system. The goal is to take the guess work out of the process so if someone says no to you, they are just saying no to a system, not to the individual.

A good system consists of -

Knowing how to contact and invite (the same way every time)

Knowing how to present the business using tools (the same basic tools every time)

Knowing how to use third party credibility such as 3 way phone calls (completing this step every time)

Knowing how to effectively follow up (scheduling a follow up every time no matter who the person is)

And, then prepare your new team partner to expect to hear some nos and get some resistance from some. This is okay. This is normal. Everyone goes through this.

So did Thomas Edison, who made 1,000 failed attempts at inventing the light bulb. Thank goodness for 1,001!

So did Jack Canfield, best selling author of the very popular Chicken Soup for the Soul series.

So did Steve Jobs, who was told 'no' by Atari and Hewlett-Packard so he had to start his own company!

When people know what to do, how to do it and what to expect, that paralyzing fear is greatly reduced.

With gratitude,

Allison
